Born in 1987 in Longquan, Zhejiang, Zhang Hao is widely recognized as one of the most influential young representatives of contemporary Longquan celadon. As a Zhejiang Provincial Master of Arts and Crafts, Senior Arts & Crafts Artist, National First-Class Technician, and certified inheritor of the Longquan celadon firing technique, he has played a significant role in both preserving traditional craftsmanship and driving modern innovations within the field.

Throughout his career, Zhang Hao has received more than forty national and provincial awards, including top honors at the China Ceramic Art Exhibition, China Arts & Crafts Expo, Yue Kiln Cup Creative Design Competition, and the Longquan Celadon Biennale. Many of his representative works—such as “Jade on the Branches,” “Han Style,” “Prosperous Fortune Deer,” “Autumn Ripples,” and “Between Thoughts”—have been collected by museums, national institutions, and international cultural foundations.

Zhang Hao has twice served as the designated celadon gift designer for the World Internet Conference and actively participates in cross-cultural exchanges, exhibiting his works in France, Japan, Korea, Spain, and the United States. He also contributes to academic research, holding several ceramic-related patents and publishing multiple papers on celadon aesthetics and craft innovation.
