Pan Jianbo, born in January 1974 into a traditional celadon family in Longquan, Zhejiang Province, is a Senior Arts and Crafts Master, Zhejiang Arts and Crafts Master, First-Class Zhejiang Ceramic Art Master, Senior Technician, and a recognized Inheritor of Longquan Celadon Traditional Firing Techniques.

He graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute majoring in Art Design, and studied under Chen Aiming, a National Intangible Cultural Heritage inheritor and Master of Chinese Ceramic Art. Shaped by a childhood spent around clay and kilns, Pan Jianbo naturally embarked on the path of Longquan celadon.

With more than thirty years of dedicated practice, he has mastered the complete celadon production process—from raw material formulation to kiln firing—while gradually developing his own distinctive artistic style. His renowned Ge Kiln Series is celebrated for its elegant, archaic forms, unique crackle patterns, and glaze as warm and lustrous as jade.

Over the years, Pan Jianbo’s works have received numerous national and provincial awards and have been collected by major museums across China. His artistic language combines scholarly refinement, technical mastery, and a deep respect for Longquan’s millennia-old ceramic heritage.
